Striker possesses everything we
love about the Akita breed: beautiful type, balance, snugly
huggable bear temperament and a loyal companion.
When Striker was a puppy his nap time was usually spent lying in
between Richard's legs up on the recliner. At six years of age
and 115 lbs., that is still his favorite place to be when he is
in the house.
When Striker started his show career he was one, big wiggle butt. He was so happy to be getting all the extra attention that standing still was a major endeavor. Oh lets not forget about all those tasty treats that everyone seemed to have readily available in their pockets. Striker obtained his championship title just before he turned two years old. We plan to bring Striker out on occasion, showing him in the Veteran class. |

Where has the time gone? It is hard to believe that Striker will turn 13 this year. Although he has slowed down and sleeps a lot more these days........he is the Akita that we still compare all our dogs to. There will never be another Striker. |
